TV series and episodes
A series is not two hundred films. In All My Movies it is one movie card with a tree of seasons and episodes inside it, so the series takes one line in the list and still remembers which episodes you have watched and where each one is.
The Episodes tab
Open a movie card and go to Episodes. On the left is the tree of seasons and episodes; on the right, the details of whichever episode is selected: season number, episode number, title, plot, original air date and the seen mark.

| 1 Season only | Keeps the selected season and drops the rest — for when you own one season of a long-running show and do not want the other nine cluttering the tree. |

Getting the episode list from the Internet
Search for the series the usual way — type the title and press Enter. TheTVDB.com is built for television and normally returns the complete list of seasons and episodes with titles, plots and air dates; TheMovieDB.org also knows series. The episode tree fills in by itself. Which source is used is set in .
Linking the video files
Each episode can point at its own file, so playback works per episode.
- One at a time: open the file panel and double-click a file to assign it to the selected episode.
- Drag and drop: drop files onto the episode list from Explorer; several at once is fine.
- A whole folder: the Set video files for multiple episodes from folder button matches the files in a folder to the episodes in order — the usual case when a season lives in one folder.
If you catalog from the disk rather than from the title, the drive scanner does all of this automatically: it recognizes S02E05-style names, builds the series and attaches every file.
Working with series in the list
- lists only the series and hides the films.
- In the main window the series line can be expanded to show its episodes, with the seen marks visible.
- Playlists and copying files both offer to work on series specifically, so you can make a playlist of a whole season or copy it to a tablet.
- Renaming has its own set of episode placeholders — season, episode number, episode title, air date — for turning a folder of chaos into Series\Season 2\05 - Episode title.mkv.
