Quality values
Your own scale for how good the picture is. The program does not impose one: whatever you put in the list is what the movie card offers. .
Most people end up with something like 4K, 1080p, 720p, DVD, TV rip, Cam — but a collector of old films might prefer Excellent, Watchable, Poor. Both work.
Add, Delete and Merge maintain the list; the value is set per movie on the Media info tab, with a button beside it that opens this directory.
What it is good for
- Grouping the list by quality shows immediately which films are worth replacing with a better copy.
- The
<quality>placeholder is available when renaming files, so the quality can end up in the file name. - A saved advanced filter such as “quality = Cam” becomes your upgrade list.
