Hi,
I have been using the IMDb part of your program a lot lately and would like to report a bug I have found:
The bug is, and I am not sure this is a fault of your program or the IMDB site, is that when trying to do a mass update on the actor info it will only download a few (maybe a 100 - 200 names) before it locks up and won't continue to download.
Now with this in mind is there a way that you can set the program up so instead of picking the names by hand one by one that you could pick the begining letter and the program would update that group of Actors.
The other thing I have found that would be of use would be if you could set it up so you could search for an Actor by name and instead of it opening up that page to just go to the name in the list or have the ability to do both. I don't know if you could incorperate the same idea as when you type in the first letter it goes to that letter but be able to continue on to the next few letters.
These are just some ideas that might make it easier for working with large data bases as I now have 1900 movies and about 61,000 Actors to deal with and have had to be updating these one at a time by hand.

Thank you for the suggestion!
As for the problem, can you define which film does it lock up at? And if you'll find it, please provide the value of the field URL for this film?

Hi,
It doesn't happen on a certian actor. It just happens when it wants to. That is why I wonder if it is at the other end (IMDb). Also I forgot to mention that another glitch I found is that some of the actors pages come up empty except for their name and the update button when you are scrolling down through the names but if you type the name in the search box when it goes to their page all the info is there. Again with this there seems to be no set patten. |

Ok, Gat!
Thanks anyway, we'll test it and try to fix.
