Hi,

I search for a good organizer for my movies and I try this good software!
So... I have some questions before... purchase decision!

1) I think if I can select what info I want to download from IMDb. I haven't found a way to control download oprions. For example, if I want to downoad awards or more details or more/less screenshots, can I?

2) In main movie page we can see the actors but not the character in the movie. If I don't know who plays a character, I haven't a way to find it. Am I wrong?

3) Also, is possible:
a) a drop-down menu for subtitles
b) a choice for numeric IMDb rating instead of stars?

The program is a very good job anyway. Simply I want to know some - important for me - specifics!

No, unfortunately, there's no such a possibility yet.

You see in the program there's Name Directory where you can fill in cards for all actors in the movies present in the collection. Each name card has got three tabs. In the Filmography tab you'll see the name of the character as well.
As for:

a) there's no such a possibility yet
b) yes, you can have numeric rating by switching off the Stars rating in the Preferences (menu item Tools-Preferences).

Hmm, I meant if I don't know the actor, not the character but you helped me, anyway, because I didn't notice the option "View - Only for the selected movie" so I can find what I want..So, it's done! Smile

a) Ok, it isn't so important for now!
b) I saw this option but I mean the actual IMDb rating..If I check this option I see the rating as 40,60,80 etc.. For example, for a movie with 7.3 I'll see 70. It was nice if it's going to fix it..Smile

Here again....I hope for last time before I make you crazy!!!!!Smile

Edit:

Finally, I found that because I import the bigger part of database from another program I have the characters only for these movies. The previous one, download the cast such as: e.x. "Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth I)" and in AMM I have the info in the filmography section.
It doesn't happen for the movies adding by AMM. So, I must download the persons info but it is a huge info volume. No choice, right??

By the way, there are plans to add the names of characters, but we can't say when exactly this will be done.

Oh, that's a really very good new and the ideal for me!! SmileSmileSmile
Maybe the only one serious "problem" about my "cooperation" with AMM.

By the way, it's very appreciated that you always answer and try to improve the program..Smile
