I just got my laptop back from being repaired and the hard drive is new and I lost everything. I had backups but they don't have my registration number. I installed a new copy of All My Movies and then copied my backup stuff. When I start up All My Movies it still says that it is a trial version.

Is there somewhere else I should go to find out my registration number? I have a backup with the exe file. Shouldn't it have it? I receive emails from Bolide Software that says that I'm a registered user.
I have a huge backload of movies to catalog and I don't want to enter all these movies in and find afterwards that they weren't incluced in the database since it's a trial version.

How good was your backup?
Did you backup the whole folder of AllMyMovies in your Prgram files or wherever you installed it?
If so all you need to do is delete the AllMyMovies folder of the new installation and copy the whole AllMyMovies folder over to the sane place.
Also AllMyMovies stores its databases in:
My Documents\AllMyMovies (so these are important to backup too.
(This worked for me) |

| I did that and it still comes up as a trial version. I really like this program and we did invest some money in it but it's been almost a week and we still haven't heard anything. I'd be fired if I didn't get back to one of our client's inquiries esp if it was about a reg key matter. Any suggestions on a replacement application? |
