If you mean to sort by MovieID, you can do the following:
click with the right mouse button over the movie list and select "Group by- Date added" - it should sort your movies by MovieID too

I also have sorted my dvds by number and I am now using your ID option (version 3.9). Unfortunately I deleted some movies and now it is not possible to rearrange the id-numbers because those numbers are deleted as well...is it possible in the near future to make your own id-number?

This is really a very nice program but when it's not possible to use this ID-function it would be really great!

we'll add the special numeric field for the purpose of movie numbering in the next version. And there will be no need to use automatically assigned MovieID field
