I downloaded and installed All My Software today.

My Antivirus Program triggered and said I should run it in a "sandbox" or quarantine it. I ignored the warning thinking that this was reputable software that could be trusted.

Further into the installation Malwarebytes also triggered and gave the following warning:

"Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has detected a malicious process attempting to start and has blocked the execution attempt.
C:\Program File (X86))\AllMySoftware\ams.exe (ROGUE FAKEMSE)

It then advised me to quarantine it which I did and then immediately uninstalled the program.

These warnings are of great concern to me and an explanation would be appreciated. Does All My Software now contain something detrimental or harmful to my system, to my privacy or anything else?

Has anyone else experienced this recently or in the past with any adverse consequences?

An urgent response would be most appreciated both from other users and particularly from Bolide Software as the developer.

Hi Folks,

I've been using All My Software for sometime and also got the Makwarebytes and AntiVirus warnings. I still do sometimes. I felt it was a reputable company and ran the software normally outside of the sandbox because of this.

I've never had a problem as a result and continue to use it as trusted software. That is my experience so I regard these warnings as "false positives" and ignore them as far as this piece of software is concerned.

There are no viruses in All My Software, it's false positive. Nothing has changed in All My Software for a long time.
