|
|
I have tried to use two printers, HP 1150 (laser) and HP 3900 (color)using the brief output. The output on the 1150 starts at the edge of the page and cuts off the beginning of the output. I tried to shrink the page, but that didn't work on the preferences on the printer.
The 3900 prints startiing out fine, but cuts off at the end of the page. Shrinking the page doesn't work either.
Any ideas to resolve this?

Also trying the compact (f9 compact) cuts off the last 3 or so lines on the page printout. I also tried usng hp 6500a printer. I would consider this a bug.

Let's try the following: try to set the correct preferences of the page for the printing template needed. To do that, you need to double click on the template's name to start the template editor. In the editor mode, use the menu item "File-Page settings" and set the correct page size, then use menu File-Save to save the template and close the editor.
Please write if it helps

I can go into the template and edit the printout to my liking. So far I changed the compact to my liking (two rows and a bigger print). The A4 setting is the problem on the 'compact' and I believe it should be 'legal', but I'm still playing with it. I just need t fine tune it and it will print to my liking.
The other settings, 'brief, etc', I will look at later. Thx for the information.
I think if it was possible, the number of lines to be printed, which would change the font size on the compact setting.
edit
I tried playing with the settings but I wasn't able to get it to work right. It still prints below the margin box size for the size of the paper. Also when I tried this, the next page wouldn't print the header...

With a little investigating, If I use the Tools, Send to PDF format, and then print the PDF file, it will work perfectly.
This is a work around for now.

Yeah, I see.
The thing may be in A4 paper size, that's why you've got the problems...
Export to pdf seems a real workaround in this case.
Thanks! |
