| AMM does not open sometimes. If I go into the process viewer, it is listed, but not doing anything. drwatson32 is also spawned when this happens. Any ideas? |

What is the AMM build number you have installed? It is listed in the About dialog.
Do you receive any error messages or it silently runs? |

| It runs silently. I just installed AMM again today after downloading the latest build, but this problem has been intermittent with the last couple versions. |

| Hmmm. Maybe fixed it. Removed all the plug-ins. Started up first try. Will let you know if it pops up again...but it looks like someone else was to blame. |

Yes, it is possibly because of some plugin.
We got some complaints about them. Therefore all of the plugins should be used with care |

Just wanted to thank you for yet another quick/helpful response. Even though I got it working you wanted to say what a great job you are doing!
A few notes:
- A quick process of elimination leads me to believe that the problem is the XLS export plugin. If the XLS plug-in is present it is a crap shoot as too whether AMM will open. Without it, all is fine. Maybe you could pass that info on to Alexey(unless you are one in the same). More than likely it is some stupid linked library thing that is entirely microsoft's fault...but I love that plug-in. The manual search plug-in was also outdated(However this was not the cause of the problem.) I had 1.1.0.5 and the latest version is 1.1.0.6......
- Which leads me to my second point. Check for updates should check plug-ins as well, a la Firefox. Seems trivial since you distribute all the plug-ins(unless there are some I don't know about.) At the VERY LEAST...
- You NEED to put the version numbers for the plug-ins on the site....in italics right next to the download button. This goes for the AMM main app as well. No where on the AMM product info page is any mention of the current version(or build.) I always laugh when I have to click on the home icon on the site to see news(and find out the current version) AMM site when it should be right there on the product page. |
