I bought AMM during the "if you buy it now you will get 6.0 for free" period.

I am just wondering if I need a new registration key when installing the update or will it automatically know I am authorized by the reg number I go when I bought it?

Hi!

You should go to http://www.bolidesoft.com/a/user/ - if you receive a new registration key to the mail, it means you get a free update. If you are not entitled to free update, then as a respond you get the old registration key and a link to the update.

What if you won a copy of AMM via the lottery ... I tried entering my email into the link you posted above, and it said I wasn't a registered user or something like that, even though it is the email I originally got my password sent to about 6 months ago?

While I'm thinking I won't be able to get a free update (though it would be nice since it's only been 6 months), it does prove a problem if the registration is somehow lost down the line, since it doesn't recognize me as a user at this point.

If you won the licence in the lottery, you'll need to buy the update - you can ask for a discount at support@bolidesoft.com
