I have just installed AMM v5.9 build 1293 and I noticed that you have made it so it will get all the cast names now, which I think is great. My question is that I have input my own discriptions and some other info that is part of the IMDb imports. Is there a way that you could make it so just the cast (actors) list could be updated and not the whole IMDb import. I would hate to loose the hours of work I have put into the info in my data base but would love to update the cast list.
Thanks for your great work. Keep it up.

Hi, Gat!
You see during mass update of IMDb details, only empty fields, ratings and screenshots are updated, that's why you'll hardly be able to download full cast list from IMDb that way. This is done specially not to lose any info put in earlier.

Hi Gemini,
Thanks for the info. I thought it worked that way but didn't want to take a chance. Gave it a try this morning and it work great, which now leads me to a couple of more inquiries.
Is there a way to make it so the program would allow updating of the actors without deleting the information? I ask this because I am dealing with a data base of 1900 movies and to do it by hand is going to take hours to do.
If the above is not possible than I also found a bug in the IMDb update. I found that if you wanted to just make an update to on movie and than tried to update another after you close the update screen that it will keep updating the first movie no matter what you do other than closing the program. I did try the update all and it worked fine until I stopped it, at which time it removed a title to a movie a couple of movies away and left the space blank. I had to go into the movie and retitle it. Not a big problem but a glitch never the less.
Again thanks for the help and again keep up the great work. |

Okay, thanks anyway, we'll try to find the reasons for this and fix it.
