ANY UPDATE ON SUPPORT FOR ISO FILES? IT IS THE BEST WAY TO KEEP MOVIES ON YOUR HARD DRIVE BECAUSE IT MAKES IT EASIER TO BURN WHEN NEEDED. I WOULD LIKE NOT TO HAVE TO MOUNT FIRST. ANY CHANCE THAT IMM CAN DO IT NOW OR ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR EASIER HANDLING OF ISO'S?
PAST CORRESPONDENCE:
I appreciate all of the work which has gone into creating this beautiful program. I want to learn everything about it.
Is there anyway to have AMM read ISO files off of my hard drive? Which types of files can it read? How about VOB's?

rogerg3,
There is no support for the ISO files now. You should mount them as a virtual CD or DVDs to be able to play them.
As for VOB and IFO files - they are supported and you can use menu "Movie-Add from file" to add them to your database. You also able to play them after. Use the "play" button in the toolbar

| I must say this program is absofreakinlutely amazing and the only thing to make it so uber cool would be to add support for .iso images! as hard drives are getting bigger and always falling in price i think that more and more ppl will be backing up their dvd's to .iso form a much better way in my book anyways, i hope soon it will be included or some other genius works out a way to do it. |

| if you mount the iso (for example with magicdisk) you can scan the iso like it was a DVD - works excellent! |

Hi!
So far you can use an ISO file to start the movie right from the database - just specify the Local Path. But, unfortunately, AMM cannot take technical info from them except for the file size...
