|
|
Hello,
I would like to be able to use the ManualSearch plugin but with it in the plugin folder, the last version of All My Movies doesn't start under Windows XP SP2 (nothing happens). When I remove the files from the plugin folder, All My Movies opens again normally. I tried the plugin under Windows 2000, the program starts and the plugin works perfectly. Could someone help me as I find this plugin very useful.
Thank you,
Sheugel |

Works for me. I have the latest version of AMM(3.8build 1203), all the plug-ins installed except for the Delphi one, and Windows XP SP2 Pro. Make sure you have the windows updates installed maybe?
You could also try compatibility mode. Right click on the short-cut, click properties, click the compatibility tab, run this program in win 2000 mode. Might be a quickfix |

Sheugel, did you get any error messages when tried to start with this plugin or AMM silently hangs?
It works for me too. Tried with the build 1203 and WinXP Pro SP1.
You can try to remove ManualSearch.ini. |

Thanks for the replies. I receive no error message. Like you say, Bolide, AMM silently hangs: in the task manager the process allmymovies.exe appears then disappears a few seconds later. I don't get it...
The tricks of Windows 2000 compatibility and removing the ini file didn't work...
Any other suggestion?
Thanks,
Sheugel

Sheugel, I have no solution for this issue at this moment, sorry. I can't repeat this situation on my computer.
But I will upload the new version of ManualSearch plugin in a few hours. I hope it will work |

Well it didn't work better with the new version of the plugin but well with the Windows 98 compatibility mode. That is something!
Thanks for the great software and to the creator of the nice plugin.
