| I downloaded this program today, everything was going fine. It took me over an hour to add all my movies and get their info and covers. I was on a licensed version given away at giveawayoftheday.com. I figure I should update to the newest version, so I do. Next thing I know all my movies and work is lost. All I have is the sample movies. Is there a way to recover the database, or is my work lost....? |

I suspect what you did was add all your movies to the sample.amm database. This is a BAD idea. The documentation explicitly tells you that this database will be overwritten with the updates. Each update notice tells you this as well.
If you used the sample database for your live records, then you are the one lacking common sense, not the programmers who warned you not to do this. If however, your personal database (my movies.amm or something else) got lost, then there is an issue that needs to be addressed by Bolide that no one else has experienced to date.
