I just upgraded to 4.9.1256 and now when I enter a movie or edit a previously existing movie, All My Movies renames the title and original title on me by stripping off "The" from the beginning and appending it to the end.
For example, If I edit an existing movie called "The Smith's", it gets renamed to "Smith's, The". Creating a new movie entry called "The Seven Deadly Sins" gets renamed to "Seven Deadly Sins, The".
It didn't do this in previous versions. Is there a way to turn this feature off?
There doesn't appear to be anyway to override this feature. I can't edit just the Title or Original title as editing either one automatically resets the fields to the modified form. |

I hate this feature too. I have found if you enter your movie this way:
The- Bucket List
Then the dash after "The" causes the "wonderful" rename feature not to work yet it sorts in the correct order - being in essentially the same position in the database as it's supposed to be.
Let's hope the folks at Bolide give us a real fix soon!! |

If i'm not mistaken you can disable this by going to the preferences --> Expert options
and disable the checkbox for Move Articles to the end of the title |
