Hi,

I'm very impressed with AMM, however Im finding it hard to get info on my DVDs using the barcode scanner.

Almost all of my movies are Region 4, and the databases do not seem to return any results.

Are there any region 4 databases available, or will I simply have to enter in the title of all of my movies (which will be a pain, there's hundreds, if not thousands).

Thanks!

Yes, we found the Australian DVDs online database with search by barcode ability, therefore we'll add this database support soon.
I'm speaking about this one:

I too would also like to know when functionality for Region 4 will be included.

I have just purchased a magazine (An Australian publication called APC Magazine) that features the program as one of the free full versions on the cover DVD.

The magazine claimed the program had barcode scanning functionality for UPC and EAN barcode formats. It did not say that you had to be an American user...

And keying in the data for several hundred DVDs is not really an option. I feel ripped off for buying the magazine on this basis.

Is there any news on this front? I'm still looking to use All My Movies, but the barcode scanning option not working in Australia is holding me back.

Thanks!

All My Movies supports one Australian database for barcode lookup. It has many movies but I think not all

Hi - I would hope JB HiFi is not the definitive source here.

As "Drew" suggested, ezydvd.com.au would be a far more comprehensive site than JB Hifi - it is the #1 DVD store in Australia

Cheers
