AMM is a very nice programm, i love it, but i have a little question!

How can i add more than one file at the "local path" options?

I have many movies with 2 or 3 parts!

Sorry, it is not possible to set several file links in the current version of All My Movies.

I think we will add this feature in 4.x versions

is this feature still going to be added in v4?

would be great if so as it seems an essential feature.

if it is avi you can combine the pieces using virtualdub

open first avi (i assume no errors else download correct codecs)
choose video->direct stream process
choose audio->direct stream process
then choose file->append avi segment
choose second avi
then choose save avi and give it new name then wait for processing

variables -
two avi files must be from same encode
second file starts where first file finishes
no audio out of sync issues with vbr

joining the files into one would work, but it doesn't help much for files we've already burned to DVD.

the other option mentioned in another thread is to create a playlist of the files and point AllMyMovies to the playlist. i think this would be preferrable.

however, programs like Extreme Movie Manager are able to handle multiple files, so i'm sure AllMyMovies could as well if the user demand is there. Smile
