Hello,
AMM is a very nice programm, i love it, but i have a little question!
How can i add more than one file at the "local path" options?
I have many movies with 2 or 3 parts!

Sorry, it is not possible to set several file links in the current version of All My Movies.
I think we will add this feature in 4.x versions |

is this feature still going to be added in v4?
would be great if so as it seems an essential feature. |

if it is avi you can combine the pieces using virtualdub
open first avi (i assume no errors else download correct codecs)
choose video->direct stream process
choose audio->direct stream process
then choose file->append avi segment
choose second avi
then choose save avi and give it new name then wait for processing
variables -
two avi files must be from same encode
second file starts where first file finishes
no audio out of sync issues with vbr |

joining the files into one would work, but it doesn't help much for files we've already burned to DVD.
the other option mentioned in another thread is to create a playlist of the files and point AllMyMovies to the playlist. i think this would be preferrable.
however, programs like Extreme Movie Manager are able to handle multiple files, so i'm sure AllMyMovies could as well if the user demand is there. |
