I seem to have a problem with the "loan to" function. My current column view is “lent to”, “Movie number”, then “Title”. With a movie title highlighted and showing this record I click in the lent to box, it ask me for the name, when I click ok, over half of my movies now show “lent to” this person. These same records are now highlighted in pink, and in the lent to field, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark shows up????? If I click on the lent to field on any one of these changed records, it ask me if I’m sure this movie has been returned, when I click ok to this “all” records return to normal.. How do I fix this??? This is the first time I have used this function and would like to get this working..

Loan to function is based on Media Label field, i.e. if you have a disk with 3 movies on it and the medial label is ABCD, then when you loan one movie, obviously you loan the whole disk, so program automatically will mark all movies on that disk "lent to". In your case you probably either have this field empty, or all the movies have the same media label. You will need to go through your collection and update the media label field if you want this function to work properly.

Hey .. Thank you for your help on this, I was not aware that’s how the loan to function works, I am using the Media Label field for another purpose, I will setup a custom field for this other purpose and copy the unique “Movie Number” field to the “Media Label” that way each title will have a different media label.. Thanks.. and have a good weekend..
