I think what you are asking for is to automatically scrape names of characters actor played in the movie from online databases. Unfortunately there is no such functionality in the program at the moment, nor there is place in the database to store that information. I assume you just edited actor list manually to add (AS ...) to each actor. However, this will present another problem. If you open Names directory, you will see that "Johnny Depp" is now saved as "Johnny Depp (as Mort Rainey)". So when you add another movie with Johnny Depp to you database it will create another entry in Names directory. And accordingly one of the main features of AMM - "Show All Movies where Actors "XXX" - won't work anymore.
P.S. Actually I just checked and it appears there is a field to store character name, however it is not being populated and even if I open database directly in Access and update the field, it still doesn't display on the movie card... So ask the author - maybe he'll add such functionality in some future release |

| Well, I saw the screenshot and I'm puzzled. I appears that when they move cursor over the actor's name it shows small picture and the character name this actor played. My AMM doesn't do that. I'm curious what's the discussion is about? |

My guess is somebody modified HTML template, added some fancy java-script to display small picture of the actor and probably somehow getting info from Role field (which, as I mentioned before, does exist, but there is no way to enter data in it through AMM interface)
Can you translate for me what the discussion is about? |

The only option i have in AMM is to click on an actor's name and get the following screen:
So i also think that someone has changed the HTML from the original. So at this point there's no way to add the 'AS' artist. You'll have to ask the one who changed the template and to have the template send to you.
But that's one of the strong points of AMM. You can change or make templates yourself like i changed the 'Mario Emmenlauer-normal-template' to my own likings. Check my DVD-list. |

Hey, hey, hey... Easy!
It is not real picture, I made in Paint.
It is only propose how to make...
On mouseover, to set "tip" and rule this tip with actors in "Directories/Names".
It should display picture of actor (because, you can download automatically when receiving info of actors), and "AS" and maybe birth date.
I think it is not so difficult to make in Borland Delphi, just connect on artist base.
I programming in C# and VB, and I know how to make in this programs.
Best Regards,

Well, at last it is clear. You want the feature to be added. |

It is a good idea with popup, BrackoNe! I added it to my to-do list for the future versions.
And yes, database has a special field for the "As {character}", but I have to add this functionality to the program to make it work. I think I'll do it. |
