|
|
I have recently upgraded to Version 4.1 Build 1235 & can't open any of my password protected movie database files.
I previously created a database & password protected it & when I go to open it with my newly registered software I receive the following error message :
“Error opening database C:\Program files\AllMyMovies\databases\Movies.amm”
When I click on the OK button I receive the following error message :
“Error opening database Movies.amm”
This error only occurs when attempting to open a database that was previously password protected and which operated fine during the trial period.
I have a second database file which was never password protected and it operates without any problems so I’m assuming that the problem is related to the password feature. |

Do you receive any password enter requests when trying to open your password protected databases?
Are your password protected databases were created with AMM v3.x or you created them with v4.x? |

Password protected databases were created with AMM v3.x
I was only after I upgraded to Version 4 that they refused to open. |

| When I attempt to open the database file, I don't even get a prompt asking for a password, I only receive the two error messages mentioned in my previous reply. After clicking on OK after receiving the second error message the program returns to the database file list. |

Are your databases big? May be it is possible for you to send one of them to me? I will try to figure out why they can't be opened.
Or you can try to open them with MS Access and reset the password |
