All My Software was the answer to keeping track of all the software that I've accumulate over the years.

When I first started working with the program, it was a confusing interface to work with. Having both program and developer input screens on the same page and having to save them seperately was not intuative. However, once I understood how it worked, it is now second nature. It's still a little clumsey to work with but it does the job.

You may want to consider having the developer's input screen open to seperate window. This would allow creating a new developer's entry only if it does not already exist.

Another suggestion would be to allow the user to create catagories and even subcatagories. By adding a tree structure that collapses, it would be helpful for those like me that have hundreds of different programs and need to have some logical means to keeping track of them.

One last suggestion is to consider incorporating the ability to enter subscription due dates for each entry. Many software today have yearly subscriptions to deal with and the ability to keep track of it would help. Perhaps it could also include a displayable/printable list of the software according to their subscription due date would be even more helpful feature.

I'm evaluating your All My Software application for use at a large company in South Carolina.

My requirements are to be able to track Software inventory (which this app seems to do ok with) and Task scheduling for each application (such as routine maintenance) with automatic reminders and/or e-mail notification. Task scheduling is not part of this application though! Could it be added in future release?

Here are few other things I've noticed with the trial version (1.6):
1. Only allows for 1 attached file for each application (should be unlimited)
2. E-mail to developer function does not work at all (We use Lotus Notes as e-mail client and IE7 for web browser)
3. Help file doesn't seem to have a search feature and doesn't have very much info in it.
4. Should be expandable to full screen to allow text boxes to expand for better viewing (boxes such as Notes)
5. Application administrator info. to allow for e-mailing to admin's etc...

Thank you for the suggestions, Scott. We'll try to implement them, but it will take time. And even completely change of the current database structure (for the unlimited attachements support). We'll think what we can implement
