I really did it this time!! I've been using AMM since early 2005 and I only update my AMM database about 3 times a year. Wednesday night with a stack of 100+ DVDs by my side I opened up AMM and checked for updates. You guessed it; I needed to upgrade to v4. So I downloaded and installed, only to find out I need a new registration key. Since I didn't get any advanced email notices(new email addy) I was a little peeved at having to buy a new program . I was perfectly happy with v3.95 so I uninstalled v4.0 only to realize that I don't have the old amm.exe download. Now I have 1244 homeless movies. Can ANYONE help? I'm open to
Thanks,

Dear sljmbll,
Getting back the AMM's 3.95 is not a problem, AMM has a support team second to none....All you have to do is request it at:
http://www.bolidesoft.com/feedback.html
You can also get your key if you don't have it...
The database for your movies is stored at: c:/program files/ AllMyMovies/databases, to access C: open “My Computer” then open drive C.
If you did not erase your database it should be there and as soon as you re-install 3.95 all you need to do is to open it. If for some reason you deleted this database then you are in trouble if it is not in your recycle bin, if it is, just select restore and it will be sent back to the databases file.
I always have a database backup, specially when upgrading to a new version; you never know how it is going to work and it is better to be safe than sorry. I keep the backup in my video drive just in case the operating system disk fails.
Hope that you find it…
By the way, AMM’s version 4 and up is a good program and the $24.95 upgrade is not much for keeping these guys in business. Bolide software is a good company and we all want AMM to keep improving. If you can, don’t be afraid to upgrade to 4.0 as your previous database will work very well and the access will be faster with more options for tweaking the program to your particular needs.
Best regards,
