hi everyone

i am using whereisit? program or was using it to catalogue my collection of movies. one of the things, and its really the only thing bugging me, is that its export functions are rather useless. i only get some junk and i want a DB that i can put online somewhere. so this is where allmymovies jumps in. i have the latest version, i just recently registered.

i exported a complete list with movies, descriptions, file size, date, location etc etc to excel file and imported the list to allmymovies. i have around 1k movies on circa 200 dvds, mostly in avi format but some full dvds too, its not much but its would still be a lot of work if i had to add every single movie manualy ><; you might consider some disk scanning functions for us divx freaks in the future .

basically i want to use the imdb import function to refresh movie info in this program and for some reason it wont import any actors. perhaps its because i didnt import that field from excel file but its nearly impossible to do that anyway cos that info is entangled with user comments and lots of other stuff.

is there something im missing here and is there a way to enforce that field to update somehow? i find it a rather interesting feature to have all that info on a web page so im looking forward to some solution
