I have a lot of DVDs which take up tons of room so I've saved space by putting collections into one case and adding a single entry to AMM for the collection and then broke down the collection in the entry which has worked well for the most part thanks to html coding, however... when it comes to the actor names in the entry, I'm forced to put them all in as one entry with no way to seperate them into individual movies. If possible, I'd like that fixed and/or a better and easier way of compiling multiple movies into one entry. As well, it'd be great if the counter could count multiple movies within an entry for a more accurate total count. I have included a url to an image of an example entry of mine. (The links at the bottom link to individual IMDB movie pages and the movie title colors represent acquisition... blue if I have it, red if I need to get it.)

Thanks.

Multiple movies in one entry is quite complicated and I have a simple solution for your problem. The only thing you have to do, is group the movies in AMM that you have put in one case, instead of combining them in one entry. I will explain it for your Lion King collection and of course you can use it for your other collections too.

1. Open AMM,
2. Add the movie “The Lion King”,
3. Get information from e.g. imdb,
4. Repeat the steps 2 and 3 for “The Lion King 1.5” and “The Lion King 2”,
5. Select The Lion King movie and open the movie card window (Ctrl E),
6. Go to ‘media info’ (see screenshot),
7. Add some text to the label field, e.g. “The Lion King Collection” (see screenshot),
8. Add the same text to the other Lion King movies,
9. Click OK and you are done!

The label groups the movies and this gives a lot of advantages, e.g. if someone wants to loan one movie which is in a case with more movies, all the other movies are automatically loaned.

Good luck! Cool

Excellent... I didn't realize you could do that.

Thank you for the info.

You're welcome! Cool
I had the same problem and it is a very nice option if you know how to use it! Wink
