I've been having the genre problem with the program I downloaded thru the Giveaway of the Day website. I saw the problem on the forums that said there was a patch and I downloaded the updates and now I can use my program as it unregistered it.

Logging out of my account at IMDB.com has fixed the genre problem for me.

Thanks, Bolidesoft, for your help at troubleshooting the issue!

I am having the same issue. Here is a screen shot with the version #. My copy is legal and the problem started with the last install of the prev. version.

It seems that this is an issue we all want fixed.

@coreysromero
That happened to me when i was using version 3.x in try-out mode. Because of IMDB changing its 'template' considerably so AMM messed up the info that it downloaded. That's why version 4.x is out now.

I think once your AMM version 3.x is messed up from downloading wrong info from IMDB you'll need to clean it up manually and stop downloading info from IMDB.

Completely sure am i not about the issue. But what i do know for sure is that version 3.x reads wrong info from IMDB, so you should stop that anyway. Exclamation

If you use AMM version 3.x the data that is being read from IMDB will screw up. So if you want to keep using versions 3.x then you can not autoread from IMDB. You must enter data manually then.

Hm, version 4.2 really should not show that problem.

@ splitz: Did you try to uninstall AMM and reinstall it? Also unistall versions 3.x prior to installing versions 4.x, otherwise AMM might still screw up. Exclamation

I will not purchase the new version until I see this issue resolved. Don't want to pay again for the same problem I'm having with Version 3.xx.
