Yeah, we already know about the problem. What version of Windows are you using and which anti-virus and firewall software are installed?
We still can't find the root of this conflict... So, any information and ideas are appreciated.

Here's some more information of my computer.

I looked up My Computer/Program Files/AllMyMovies/AllMyMovies Application File and right clicked on Properties Which show:
Created: Sunday, August 22, 2010, 6:58:28 PM
Modified: Friday, July 23, 2010, 10:00:44 PM
Accessed: Sunday, August 22, 2010, 6:58:28 PM

This shows it as being modified before it was created?

I also ran Belarc Advisor on my system to look at AllMyMovies files and came up with the following information shown below.
Some of these "Last Modified" might be the cause, especially File:allmymovies.chm and File:allmymovies.exe which show a date 30 days old?, and some even show "Last Modified" dates as 4, 7 and 8 years old?
I've never had any versions of AllMyMovies or any other software from your company installed on this or any other computer before, so these "Last Modified" dates are unusual as they were all "Created" Sunday, August 22 2010.

Hope this may be helpful.

I'm afraid reinstalling won't cancel the meter..., so the only thing you can do to try the program is download and install version 5.9. Here is the link

Thanks for your help with the link

Just so I know when trying out version 5.9, what is different, improved and added to version 6.

Okay, hope we'll solve the problem with 6.0 trial soon.
So far you can see the changes in the updates here http://www.bolidesoft.com/allmymovies/whatsnew.html

Gemini,

Whilst trialling version 5.9 I've been offered a discount to buy AllMyMovies & "migrate", if I purchase would it be a version 6 license ?

Dear Gemini

I have been monitoring your activities in answering (EVERY) post in the forum , you did not miss or ignore any. You are really very clever, and the forum is so lucky with you to be among the support team , so thank you very much for your time and care for others

I would like to say that this bug is not related to a conflict with the O.S. , or the anti virus , because I am using rightnow the most updated versions of O.S. ( windows 7 ), Avira anti virus , version 6 of All my movies , and I am experiencing the same bug; expiration of the trial version before the due time ( Trial is over) , although I have only used the trial version for few days

I have been using all my movies for 3 years , since version 4, and I have never encountered that bug during the trial version since then

This is really a disappointing (technical) AMM software bug, after this promising ,long-awaited ,fixed or bug-free (MAJOR) upgrade of AMM.

I think I have to review buying a license now, because this bug could happen also after paying for a license

Please help for a reasonable explanation

Thanks

Hi Dr.TariQ Barakat!
It's a pleasure to read this really! Smile Honestly speaking, I'm a bit embarrassed Embarassed
Thank you very much for your kind and inspiring words! Smile Still the whole team is trying to give maximum support to our users, not only me Smile. Unfortunately, from time to time problems do occur, like the one being the subject of this topic.

Thanks for informing us again about the problem! We're trying to find out the reason for such a shortened trial period. Some fixes (concerning the trial period) have been made for Windows XP SP3 in build 1301. As for Windows 7, sorry to say, no solution found yet, still we're doing our best to make progress.

Regards,
