Hi, Great program by the way. Love all the features. (New user just got a licence) Anyhow
I have a 600 + movie collection (growing) stored on hard drive and have entered all the movies into your database. Since then I have moved a lot of the movie files into different folders on the same hard drive.
I have a media center box with hard drive (filled with movies) connected to TV and networked to my laptop.
A great improvement would be a tool that would go through your database, confirming local file path locations. If unable to find the file. It should then be able to look through the hard drive or selected locations for the filename and either suggest updates to the local path, look for file yourself, ignore or remove movie from database
Also by looking at the last local path it should be able to locate movies, that are not stored on the database that are located at in the location selected by the user, maybe offer to add movie, or at least point file out
This would make the program truly interactive. I.e double click on movie and it starts playing on TV. Might become more useful as media players increase in popularly.
This would make the program perfect in my eyes, as i don’t expect to export anything to another database
Thanks for listening

| I would like to see a way to have the program or a plug-in that would look at the list and then the location on the PC Hard drive or other hard drives where those movies are stored. If the movie has been deleted then I would like All My Movies to delete it from its list or ask what the user would want to do. |
