|
|
After reinstalling AMM under Windows 7 64bit, I also downloaded the Manual Search plugin. However after opening this plugin I cannot set cover, url etc. When I try to set the cover for instance I get an error saying:
"Cannot create file "C:\File\Program Files (x86)\AllMyMovies\Plugins\ManualSearch.jpg"
and when I close the plugin I see an error again:
"Cannot create file "C:\File\Program Files (x86)\AllMyMovies\Plugins\ManualSearch.ini"
I had it working under XP. Does it have to do with Windows 7 and is the plugin not compatible with 7 ? |

You can try to grant access to the folder "C:\File\Program Files (x86)\AllMyMovies\Plugins\" for all users. In Windows7 on default, it is only for administrator.
And one more way is to start All My Movies with administrator's rights. To do that in the program's shortcut you need to set an option "Run as Administrator"

| Thanks Gemini, the first did the trick ! All My Movies itself was already with administrator rights. |
