At the moment, when I go to import a whole bunch of movies, AllMyMovies doesn't recognize .mp4 files. I have to change the file selection to 'All files' to see them.
Could you make AllMyMovies recognize .mp4 files as video please?
Thanks.

It is easy to add .MP4 to the list of visible files when using "Add from file..." menu.
But... Just tested AMM with mp4 file - it loads, but can't recognize any codecs info. When trying to add screenshots AMM hangs Sad. Duration, File size and resolution were detected properly.
I think we will add .mp4 to the known video file extensions but will not advertise it.

And we'll try to make a better mp4 support of course

Hi... yes, when I first tried adding MP4 video files (by using 'all files' as you say), AMM didn't recognise what the format of the file was (resolution, frame rate etc). The MP4's I have are produced with Nero 7's 'Nero Recode', which I have installed on my PC so I can play such movies with Nero Showtime.
I then did some research on the web, becuase I wanted to get AMM to pickup the resolution etc, and I also wanted to be able to play the movies with Media Player Classic (not Nero Showtime). What I found is that when I re-ran the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack install, and selected ALL the DivX codecs (not just the latest v5) as well as the MS MPEG4, I could then play the movie OK in Media Player Classic, and also... AMM now picks up on the resolution etc of my MP4's. Although I do no fully understand MPEG4 codecs etc, I read something about MPEG4 actually being MPEG2 layer 4 which can use DivX4. Hope this helps.
