What is this function supposed to do? When I right click in the field on the left I see an option stating set personal marks and clear personal marks. But when I click either nothing happens.

The custom fields allow you custom fields tab on the library card popup that you use to view and edit book data. The Text fields is a place for you to enter items for a custom drop-down menu that will appear on the book screen. The flag fields allow you to create custom check boxes that will appear on the book viewing screen.
